it holds 8+1 which is nice b/c most 3 gun matches limits you to 9 in the gun. No pistol grip as its an import and the whole 922 thing. FNH makes a tri-rail that replaces the mag tube and gives you mounting options. It costs around $125 - $150 on the net. A light such as a Streamlight TLR-1 would tack on another $100 or so. Combine that with a viking tactics sling (regular buttstock rear mount) for around $60 bucks and you should be alright.

FNH does make a shorter tactical one with ghost ring sights and what not. Looks just like mossberg's 930 SPX.

No shotgun with a fixed magazine over 5 rounds can be imported or made with more than 10 imported parts. Shotguns can be imported with pistol grip stocks.

I talked to FN about this awhile ago. They are imported with a "compliant" mag tube with fudd cap and they ADD the extension to the shotgun once they get to the US.

FN takes care of 922r by making the shotgun "non-sporting" in the US with enough US parts to comply. You can add as many evil parts as you like as long as you don't reduce the number of US made countable parts.
