Pics of Robarm XCR with MIL-STD-1913 rail system

Went to Robarm to see how the XCR-M (7.62 NATO) is coming along and to check out their Army M4 replacement candidate.

I got a peek at the new MIL-STD-1913 upper shipping on all new XCR's. I'm glad he made the change. The XCR-M will also be MIL-STD-1913

Anyway, here are crappy cell phone pics.

Now, if they would make the side & bottom rails removable, and offer rails in different lengths, they would definitely be onto somethin'.

There already are different lengths. Have been for over a year now.

There is a middy length rail, carbine length and pistol length.

Im referring to the 1913 rail sections specifically, not the entire handguard. The ability to place sections of rail only where you need them, and remove them from where you dont is the best thing to come along since sliced bread in my opinion. It gives you a much slimmer handguard profile, and it also lessens weight.

ETA: Similar to the Troy/VTAC TRX "Extreme" rails system.

No pics allowed. Sorry. I wish.

Only the Army will see what is being cooked up and I signed an NDA so I am limited in what I can say on the matter.

Seriously? You seem like a pretty intelligent individual. Are you willing to risk it all on rifle that I'm betting will be a no show. I'm convinced this is sales stunt. I guess we'll see...

To be honest, I don't understand what you are saying/asking

Risk all of what on what? What will be a no show?

Can you at least say if it's looks promising and better than the standard M4 overall?
