Mounted a detachable carry handle on my Colt M4. My 9 year old son took to using irons like a warrior. He did well out to 100m.

It works great for me. My thumb naturally rests on the activation pad when I shoot and it doesn't come close to obstructing the front sight at all.

I did some tweaking since that pic was taken. The rifle is in solid but the pistol and can were falling out.

I only got one layer of pick and pluck but I had some other layers of flat foam. I was able to get the guns higher up which stopped the pistol and can from moving.
