Ok, you've piqued my curiosity. I was under the impression that the Holland was a 16" Noveske, the Mod 0 and Mod 1 were 18".

What's the real story?

My birthday today and I was bored! So I painted her! Also I'm new here as you can see but I love the format, it's just like my home state forum PAFOA. My picture is small not sure why. 😀

Unless Noveske just played with names that I missed, Noveske has nothing to do with the name Holland. You are correct that the MK12 mod O and mod one are 18”.

From what I read, Noveske wasn't involved in naming it or the design. It was named for Steve Holland, who was credited with the design, which utilized a 16" Noveske barrel, vs the 18" Douglas barrel of the Mod 0 & 1.

I was asking, because you alluded to the Mod H not being a 16" barrel. It sounded like you might know something different, which wouldn't surprise me with your contacts.
