So I'm not Chris Costa, but I'm 99% sure that he's running two separate zeros. One regular/long distance zero on the Aimpoint and something like a 7 yard zero on the irons.Just curious, but: Is there any particular reason why there is a backup sight at an 45° angle? If there was a magnifying optic on top I could understand it as a short range sight, but I can't see the point in this setup. Why not using any normal flipup sights?
GOTM4 has posted pictures of his irons only competition rifle with a similar setup.

Yep, it's a ContourHD. That's mine that we used while doing a tandem shoot on an AR500 steel target. Costa ringing it with his .308 and I'm left of him with my SR-25.That's a camera on his ear pro alright..

Not a dvd, we were having some fun during lunch on TD3 of Dynamic Handgun 1 (Portland, OR). Yes there's footage, no I don't think I can post it. Trust me, it was pretty awesome.
