I know this isn't as nice as the guns you guys have in America. We have to take what we can get here in Canada.
HA..."poor fella".
Nice build, Mike...that stock and buttpad look pretty comfy!
That's funny!! The Elcan alone would have put the gun in the over-weight catagory!! I'd love to pull that out as a prank in my next carbean class.

The Elcans; C79, Spectre DR, and M145, (as seen configuration) are not that much heavier than the Acog. However along with the minimal weight addition comes far superior optics. However that is another discussion.
Yes, the M145 has a 5.56 reticule, and that is what is in this tube. That's what we are here for, is it not, to learn new stuff??
And "Hello" Capt Obvious, yes this carbine is heavy. I didn't put the picture up trying to pretend this is my duty rifle or anything of that nature. Rather than putting up another one similar to the other 285 pages of pictures, I didn't think there were that many of this manufacturer or with these accessories. I tried to have a little diversity, spice of life, kind of thing.
Easy, Tiger. I thought the pic was for humor. No hard feelings!

Although, at our local club we do have some night shoots/campouts, with some BBQ and wobbly pops after the guns go away. So I have played with this monster on the range. Took it from the Pelican, onto the shooting blanket and back. Looked funky on a team photo.
I just have to figure out how to mount the bayonet. Maybe some duct tape.
