Gerber LMF 2 Blade i.d.

Can anyone tell me how to identify the blade material on the LMF 2 ? I would like to get the Skandvik127 blade rather than the 420HC. All i found in a knife blog elsewhere was that for 4 months in 2008 they had to switch to the 420 due to logistics problems. Thanks in advance.

as far as I know, that's all they're using now. I too would buy one if I could be sure it was made from the Sandvik steel...
