    Power Pistol by Alliant

So has anyone used this powder. I have noticed that the minimum in about twice of what Clays is. I do not care much for high velocity and this is a high velocity powder. Can I go lower than what the minimum on there website says? What do you load it to for a 9mm? Any help would be great.

I assume you have some and you’re trying to find out what you can do with it? It’s intended for max velocity so I don’t think you will get around that. It’s also very flashy.

If you want lower velocity, then choose a different powder. If you go below the minimum listed with slow burning powders you risk the chance of a Kaboom. You might want to look for a faster buring powder such as red dot or bullseye.

No it won’t. Just start with the minimum load and you will be fine.

I've used a fair amount of it lately. Maybe 5 pounds in the last year. I like it based on the fact it can be used in several handgun loads I make, its easy to find locally, its not too expensive, and it meters great for me which I like best of all.

What is the start load? 9mm 115 g fmj. I am having problems finding this in Hornady loading manual.
