Optical clarity is nice, as is the eye relief. Seems sturdy enough. I have the SFP mil-dot reticle (accurate at 14x), but capped 1/4 MOA turrets. If you are happy with those kind of specs, I think it's nice. I was playing on my club's 600 yd gong range (gongs spaced at 125 yd intervals up to 600 yds) and working on adjusting turrets to make impacts. I would prefer uncapped turrets for that use, but I think the scope would work great for a set-it-and-forget-it kind of use.

I bought this scope for another project that hasn't come to fruition yet, so it got to run on the M14. I plan to replace it with the SWFA 3-9x42 FFP mildot scope.

If I'm patient and do my part, it shoots sub-MOA, with Prvi Partizan 75 gr. (Haven't tried Black Hills 77s yet). What about yours?

Nice! Finished it last night so no idea yet. Headed out to the farm this evening to let it rip. Have a couple hundred SWA 77gr ready to go With the upper, ammo, and Geissele SSA-E I'll have no one to blame but myself if it doesn't hit sub MOA.

As others pointed out, attaching a piccatiny section to the bottom of VTAC TRX causes the backing plate to contact the gas block. To over come this, I used two backing plates to secure the front and rear of the bottom piccatiny rail section, allowing the gas block to remain unimpeded.
Unfortunately due to being in AWB state, I had to use Colt lower with sear block and large FCG pins. This limited my choice of triggers. Due to time constraints, I was able to get Jard single stage, non-adjustable trigger, although I wanted Geissele SSA-E.
With standard Colt USGI trigger, I was getting about 1.6 MOA at 100 yards with PPU 75gr, FGMM 69gr and SWA77 run and gun.
