    Headspace

Are tolerances on barrel extensions and bolts such that swapping bolts is a non issue headspace wise?

I have three ARss, one Bushmaster and two BCMs. There is no way I would consider putting the Bushmaster BCG in a BCM, but how about awapping BCM BCGs between the BCM uppers?

What about when I get a spare bolt?

In short, do I really need to get a field gauge or a go no-go set?

    Thanks

What i was told was that you should not have to worry about headspace too much when you have mil-spec parts from reputable manufacturers. I have know people to swap BCG's and Barrels between different manufactures with no headspaceing issues. That being said, its not always going to work 100% of the time. But in your case I dont think swaping BCG's between BCM barrels would be an issue.
