I'm not sure if you're trolling or really asking, but you can't see a difference between the ramps in the two pictures?

Among other things they are stripping off the hard-coat anodizing from the upper, in a spot that is potentially pretty high impact. Colt actually does this too on the A2 uppers on the 6520 but at least they cut the ramps in to the right spec instead of just making a pass at it with a Dremel like RRA.

Just wasn't entirely clear. If you go back through the thread you'll find a lot of leading questions from a lot of newer posters.

No offense intended. Hopefully the rest of my reply explained things sufficiently.

It's okay, none taken. I see what you mean but I am just happy RRA is willing to stand by their products with a lifetime warranty (unlike many other "better" companies). Thanks for the info, more reading to be done!

What is this supposed to mean, exactly? Daniel Defense, Noveske, Bravo Company, LMT, etc. all offer lifetime warranties.

So many people grasp at that warranty straw I think I'm going to take it off the Chart. it really has no bearing on anything, and is only a holdover from the very first go around in the draft form.

I may be alone in this, but I'd rather buy a product that I never have any reason to experience the warranty service on, than one with the best warranty in the world that I'm using constantly.

I think removing the warranty from the chart is a good idea.

Gun warranties are a little wierd anyway all most all gun companies don't charge for repairs/parts installed at the factory. Hell even Ruger fixes AC-556s (registered machineguns) free of charge.

There are two mindsets with guns. They are either used to defend ones life or for hobby/collection purposes.

Warranties are no good if your gun failes when you need it most. This is where the quality of the components used and how the weapon was assembled come into play. RRA fails in both areas.

Agree. The companies that really push the "lifetime warranty" thing typically build a crap product. Companies that never mention their warranty, generally don't need to (as few people ever need to send their weapons back).

I just purchased another HG, and I knew they had a "Warranty", and I know they are NOT famous for their warranty work, (and some times their attitude) but I chose the HG on the gamble that they build such a good HG, that I will never have to use the warranty. Remember, that was my choice of gamble, so if anything ever happens, I can only tell myself "I told myself so". But I am going on their reputation for their "Product". My research has revealed to me they are the top of the line, and yes the extra $100 was damn well worth it.

IE: The warranty had little to no bearing on my choice. Their reputation amongst "Pros" did.
