Now I know why I stopped going over to THR...
I would not waste anymore time explaining it over there... cut you losses and the ones that see it' s usefulness will seek it out.....You can't save everybody...
They had no right to win. Yet they did, and in doing so they changed the course of a war...even against the greatest of odds, there is something in the human spirit - a magic blend of skill, faith and valor - that can lift men from certain defeat to incredible victory.
A good point was made about the scoring.
If you are going to keep this purely factual, dump the scores.
The scores make it subjective.
The whole idea of scoring is what creates the issue of "weighting" of the data.
Taper pins or parkerize under a FSB are NOT equal to CMV or chrome lining, but the simple scoring system makes them appear that way to the un-informed.

I love and hate this chart. It lets me know where I wasted money and where I should have spent my money.
Dead men tell no tales!
I agree and to interject "I pity the fool" who can't see the real value in the chart. It would save a new prospective buyer the headache of comparing features of the most popular models, their options, and browsing all over the net for the same info. It also is a good reference to link back to instead of sending people on endless thread searches for general info.
One thing that I believe would be helpful would be to include both the MSRP and the average actually street price at the bottom of the chart for reference and to also list if the option is available to buy the upper and lower separately to avoid FET.
I actually agree. It also opens it up to putting in the actual barrel steel rather than just yes/no.
What most of the "score" complainers don't seem to get is that weighting is TOTALLY subjective. To some having a staked carrier key is the most critical, to others it's the chrome lining, to still others it's the barrel twist, etc.
In the end though dumping the totals eliminates one more bitch-n-whine so I think it's worthwhile.
Chart added to the Black Rifle Club at Glocktalk.
There will be wailing, gnashing of teeth, and cries of "foul!"
