Comparison Chart of Major AR Brands

They dislike two things about it, typically:
1) The fact that it says "m4carbine.net" on it.
2) The fact that it has my name on it.

I think "hate" is a relative term- I "hate" the chart because, I found it after I bought my MP15, of course whats the first thing I did? Started looking for things on the chart.

The chart's got you looking for every flaw, soon thats all you see. I think people see the chart and assume that if your rifle doesn't have something that the Colt has its inferior. Of course, I dont think thats true.

Personally, I think that the work to put together a chart like that is great and perhaps one day, will influence gun makers to start to include higher quality items on that chart.

Quick meta question, but why the hate on ar15.com for the chart? They (the mods) seem to think that it's erroneous and/or misleading somehow, to the point where they will edit out posts containing links to the chart. I read back a bunch of pages of this thread, but couldn't find an answer.

The mods and staff have alluded to what I have said in various posts. Go over there and post a link to a discussion to M4C and see how long it lasts.

I only use TOS for pictures and a good laugh... All the serious M4/M16 stuff is here.

That's kind of a generalization; there are plenty of exceptions.

I've provided links to m4carbine.net, I've even linked to G&R Tactical when people were looking for something. The links survived.

Subtlety, and not doing it in a high-drama thread, helps.
