    Advanced Fighting Pistol

The AFP is my version of a modern combat 1911. I just finished this one and took a few photos before shipping it to its owner:

I'll post some details on it when I get the chance.

Wow, that is one hell of a 1911.

I bet the owner will be very pleased when it arrives.

Another beautiful piece of work Dave. I think that's my new favorite. All business and no nonsense.

    Nice work!

If you don't mind me asking, what are the particulars of the build?

    Thanks

    he was busy

I contacted Mr. Berryhill a while back to do a similar project. He wasn't taking orders at the time so... I had it built. I ordered parts from Mr. Berryhill and here it is.

Nice work Ventura. I wish you hadn't told me that though. I knew Mr. Berryhill would be too busy to take my order but if I can order the parts........

    Dave,

That 1911 is a beauty. I bet she shoots as good as she looks. You do some amazing work.

EGW thick bushing with carry bevel and flush crown:

The same pistol sporting some wood
Coco bolo that is. The customer ordered two sets of grips with the pistol:

I'll post the list of specs tomorrow.

I am a believer in 'basic'.
