Finally finished off my milled 74' sidefolder project

Just baked on the gunkote the other day. It's a bit glossier than I expected, but the finish is pretty tough. Might do this one's twin in cerakote.

    Lancaster 74' sidefolder receiver
East German 74 chrome lined barrel (16" under the fake can)
    Bulgarian AK-100 style gas block
Galil trigger, but other fcg parts are US made for 922r compliance
Cut down fake can from Investment Grade Firearms (solid aluminum)
    Tromix-modified carrier

This doesn't have a rear sight because I'm adding a Gen 2 TWS rail when they ship the production version, as long as they don't turn out to suck or anything.

The Galil trigger is cool because you have a pretty good 2 stage (or pseudo 2 stage) pull, with an actual break, which is imho an improvement.

Stock is pinned in the locked open position, and I have to have a bullet button and a 10 round mag. CA is what it is....

Did all of the building and refinishing myself in the garage. It's my "man card" therapy for when I have to get out of the studio. Hope y'all dig it.

I got them direct from Lancaster. Even though they don't have a great reputation for customer service, I think the receiver is a good product. Needed some finessing and creativity in a few areas though.

    Hot!

Funny enough I think I am most jealous of your shorty mag.
