If they keep the quality in line with the original Walther-made P99's it looks like it will make a pretty slick little piece.

Looks ok, I like the rounded slide sides in the polish versions. I am curious as to the particulars of the "QDT (TM) or Quick Defense Trigger. It supposed to take 15 rounds I believe, but it does look a bit thinner. I want a compact!!!
Interesting design, and like Palmguy said, it's like the P99 and P30 had a baby. I'd like to see how the internals are put together. It's definitely something I want to look into.

Interesting re-marketing. I wonder how much of an improvement this is over it's predecessor (P99).

What do you guys think of the mag release? Shot a buddies 99 and liked it, was surprised it didn't take off.
Two please
Dont sweat the small stuff.
If youre not taking fire, its all small stuff.
Maybe I misunderstand you but the P99 in 9mm holds 16 rounds with the original full capacity mags and 15 rounds with the current full capacity mags. The Glock 19 holds 15 rounds. If you're thinking about the P99 in .40 S&W the original mags had a capacity of 12 but I believe they are now shipped with 11 round mags.
I heard they lowered capacity in each mag by one round so a person could easily insert a fully loaded mag into the pistol with the action closed.
