Nothing to I'm sure your standards to prove it.
That being said, if I needed a duty rifle I would go with a proven platform like a DI ar. But alot of you guys lump all and everything new into the It's shit category without so much as handling one.
I have nearly a thousand rounds through my 516 without any kind of malfunction whatsoever and the bcg looks like a DI ar with a hundred rounds through it.
No, I'm not taking this gun into battle.
No, it's not a duty rifle. But I definitely feel confident enough to defend myself and my family with it.
We all know that "if it ain't milspec it's crap" ok?
So get over yourself.
A thousand rounds. Impressive. Definitely sounds like there should be no issues and it was worth the money over a DI AR. After all, ease of cleaning is paramount.

I own almost every assault rifle ever made. Some I have multiple examples of each.
Piston AR15s are unproven, proprietary, heavier than a DI AR15.
75% of piston AR15s are made by companies that won't be around in 20 years or the company wont be making AR15s in 20 years.
They do not run cleaner than DI AR15s.
They are harder on the moving components than DI AR15s.
They weigh more.
Cost more.
Harder to work on.
Harder to get parts for.
Have never been proven to be more reliable than DI AR15s.

Ok got it.
You win.
Still more than Ruger's complete rifle is worth. I don't know if they make nice Bolt guns but I know their Mini 14s are garbage although appropriate for the price point.
