    DDupleks Rounds?

    Has anyone tested or experimented with these expanding shotgun slugs? I stumbled across them on the ATG site, in a .410 load for the (yeah, yeah, I know...) Judge. I hadn't heard of the brand before, but a quick search got me to their site. There, I found this page with some interesting videos of wild boar and even brown bear (!) being taken Russia with these slugs. There are also some vids on YouTube of gelatin shots, clay shots, and even an old Ruskie engine block as a target.

    Theoretically, this seems like an interesting projectile, but it's Latvian/Russian roots are somewhat suspect. Has anyone done any real testing with them, or does anyone know of any LEO/MIL use of this round?

    Just curious....

    I, too, saw this new slug design. Some calibrated BG testing would be really neat on these.

    From the linked page;

    A slug with an extremely enormous impact effect
    Note that it's not just enormous, its extremely enormous!

    Sorry, hype instantly sets off my BS meter.

    However, on further review I am interested.
