I changed my optics setup to a TA45 with GDI RCO mount. This is the longest eye relief ACOG available (I think) and with the RCO mount, it is just barely close enough to work, and it does seem to work well. Mine is the -6 version with the 6 MOA dot, which seems overly large. If I decide that I like everything else about the setup, I will be sending it back to Trijicon to be re-reticled with a triangle.
The iron sights work through the hole in the ACOG, but it would be best with standard sized rear and front sights. That is my next planned change.
