That's the M14.CA Blackfeather chassis system. It weighs the same as a GI fiberglass stock.

I've changed the scope since the picture was taken, but with the action, chassis, tube stock, CASM scope mount, Leupold Mk4 4.5-14x50mm scope, Atlas bipod, accushot monopod and a full magazine of GI Ball ammo, it weighs in at an even 14.0 pounds.

It was sent to me as a T&E stock.

Here's a pic I took before I put on the Leupold when it had a Bassett scope mount and a Zeiss conquest...

My last 200yd range trip yielded seven 5-shot groups averaging 0.95 MOA. I've got to get the Leupy zeroed this week so I can stretch it out to 600 soon.

    Tony.

I've been eyeballing that blackfeather stock for a while. I have their CASM mount, and I like it a lot. But I already have my M1A in a JAE-100 chassis, and I don't know if I would get that much of an improvement (if any)

Nice looking SOCOM. Did you have to do any modifications to make it fit or was it drop in?

Nice looking SOCOM. Did the rifle drop in or did you have to modify the stock ?

My Socom in ATACS AU. I have changed back to an Ultimak M8 rail and will probably go with a Burris Fast Fire or Trijicon RMR. I am hoping to get as close to a true co-witness as possible.Attachment 32363Attachment 32364
