Ruger Mark I question

I have been looking for a .22 pistol for plinking, teaching wife and children how to shoot and to install a suppressor on. A guy came in my shop yesterday with a Mark I and only want $150.00. I do not know what these go for. Is this a good price? Will it do all of the above? Thanks for the help.

Around here a MkI will sell for $200.00-$250.00 in very good to excellent condition.If that gun is nice It's worth the $150.00 asking price and should fit your needs well.tom.
