What helmets are out there these days?

Must accept rails. Must not cost a fortune (I am cheap). Must be immediately available. Must come in OD Green or FDE. Velcro a plus. Ballistic protection not required.

    Go.

To be used with the kit below:

I have one of these for wearing NODs. Mine is tan. You may have to call them as the website only has black.

imho, TW is the only option -- not just for the quality - over the top - but for the flexibility of options and configuration, esp with comms

    Team Wendy Exfil.

    /endthread

By the time I added Maritime ARC Rails and a Norotos shroud, my PT Bravo half shell is north of $200.

I just paid $70 for my PT with rails and shroud. What does the Exfil cost?

well, it costs more than that. also depends what your real needs are. mounting only ? bump helmet ? ballistic helmet ? don't pay for more than what you really need.

I get that. I have a ballistic helmet that I have about a grand invested in. The OP asked for a shroud and rails
..... And cheap. So PT fits all of the needs. Now if he needs some impact protection then that is not the way to go.

I'm just trying to get NODs on my head without stuffing my earpro/comms underneath a decade old USMC issue LWH.

Pigs don't shoot back and I'm not fast-roping out of helos in this helmet.
