Anyone running an X200B on a carbine?

I have one that I use on my pistols, and while lamenting my lack of fundage to get a 910 or an LED Scout I thought of just popping the X200B on my rail. Application would be indoors 20yds and under.

I seem to remember Ned Christiansen the world-renowned 1911 gunsmith and M4carbine.net member as being a fan of X200’s on carbines. I think he even makes his own mount that is designed specifically for AR mounting up close to the FSB.

Not an X200, but here is my TLR-1 to give you an idea of what it would look like.

I have had very good luck running an X200A on the side of my RAS equipped MP5. The small compact light throws out enough power for the general range of this weapon.

I do like the idea of an X200 (preferably A not B in this case) as a very compact and durable backup light on the AR platform. It's powerful enough to get you by, robust enough to function, and compact enough to not be in the way with much added bulk or weight.

The newly realeased tail switch only adds icing to the cake in that package for me.

I was contemplating a somewhat similar question. I do have two sub-questions though.

    1) What would be the best option for mounting on a rifle that doesn't have a rail handguard?

    2) Can someone provide a link to pics and/or a retailer for the "tail switch"?

Hmm, I was hoping for something like a pressure switch. I'm not too fond of remote switches.
