    my daniel defense update

heres my dd in its current form. i took of the rail and put m4 handgaurds on,along with a carry handle.
i used the rear carry handle and adjusted it for the revised improved battle sigt wic worked great. 6/3 -4 clicks and it was dead on at 50 yards. i have 2000 plusrounds through it now. in the begging i had trouble with it short stroking with tula ammo. since then i changed out the action spring and buffer for a bcm spring and buffer and cleaned my gas tube. i had carmalized grease in the gas tube.
now it eats everything i put through it. thanks m4c

i got over zealous with the tw25b grease in the upper receiver.i used it to lube the charging handle and the bcg rails. i also put some on the end of the gas tube where the gas key slides over it. live and learn. ive been using millitec and ewl since then

My guess is that the spring and buffer were good to begin with.

I think your right. however when i changed the buffer and spring is when i measured the gas port and cleaned the whole gun. i had to use a drill bit to clean the hardend grease out of the gas tube.what happened was i read to use a LITTLE oil on the tip of the gas tube wear it enters the gas key. so i figured grease would work better. just goes to show if a quality gun wont run certain ammos check the last things things that were dicked with.
