    AR pistol picture thread

Franklin Armory 11.5" SE-SSP (Self Extracting - Single Shot Pistol), the closest I can get in CA to an SBR.

    Range Toy

Say Hello to my little-Frien.. Honestly, it is small.

Spike's "FDE" Upper/Lower, STAB & heavy buffer, LW 7.5" SS barrel, YHM FF rail, and the BCG is BCM.

Seems to shoot very well for what it is. Closest thing I can get to an SBR.

    300 Blackout AR Pistol

I think the New 300 Blackout will change the face of the AR Pistol.

I've played with many 223/5.56 AR pistols in the past, but none were keepers for me. I don't have a SBR lower, and I wanted to try the new Blackout, my first 2 300 Blackout barrels are from http://www.deltacompanyarms.com/ , I rigged up the pistol with a Sampson FF rail(recommended by Aaron of Delta Company), and an Ace pistol buffer setup. The barrel has a pistol gas system, and she runs great with the super sonic loads I've tried.

I have less blast with the blackout vs the 5.56, but I haven't done any night testing(that's whats summer is for). I don't use this set up as a PDW yet, it still needs more testing, and I don't have any factory ammo to use for that purpose. 125gr Nosler Ballistic tips at 2000 fps is my starting load, but I still need work up loads to see where the ceiling is. Out of a 16 inch Blackout, the 125 BT has worked well on the coyotes that didn't run fast enough.

For a comparison, 5.56 and the 300 Blackout:

I've been working out seating depth, and mag function, these are the deepest I've seated, they are just over 2" in length.

I shoot this like a rifle, tube against my shoulder, and a good cheek weld. Shooting Bill drills and El Pres's vs a 45acp(both starting at the low ready), at 10m the 45 pistol rocks, but when I move to 50m, and 100m, the 45 doesn't stand a chance. This is just for me, other shooters might get a different result. I'll need to dust off the 38 super, put in fresh batteries and test at 50m with the Blackout pistol, maybe the Comp gun has a chance, Maybe.
