Looks like we all had the same idea.

I just got this one "shootable". I was going to keep it a pistol, but I'm just going to save up to SBR it, so I probably won't ever have an SB15 on it.

I have a MOE SL handguard and ADM cantilever mount in the mail, so I'll update this picture when I get it on. But so far, I'm in love with the balance on this thing.

    11.5 BCM Upper
Parabellum Armament lower and PSA LPK
    LWRC Grip
    Aimpoint PRO

But I'm liking it on the piston. The extra length better balances this piggie. And I am pretty sure it can be fired folded. Just not 100% positive the open to air upper receiver is not a problem.

$30 padded harpsicord case is mucho useful. Folded gun fits even with mag inserted. Front pouch holds 6-8 mags. Larger rear pocket has backback harness.

Finally got around to testing my 11.5 BCM pistol on a friends chrony, and the results were a bit surprising.

All shots aprox 10 feet from the chrony using .223 steel cased 55 grain wolf -

    1: 2654
    2: 2633
    3: 2639
    4: 2646

i was thinking it would be in the 2200-2300 range. quite a nice surprise !

Swapped my ferfrans CRD out for a surefire 3 prong. Lighter and less flash but less muzzle control. Might just swap back and forth every now and then. Dbal-i2 being delivered on Tuesday. 5 of them actually. Got a deal on em. Going to sell them. Then the question is elcan for this or PVS-14 and helmet rig or scar 17 with glass and ammo hmmmm. #1stWorldproblems

I am pretty sure the BCM foregrip cannot be put on pistols. You may want to check the NFA rules on that one.

Depends on OAL. Over such & such arbitrary length, it's a "firearm" instead of a pistol. Reference Franklin Armory letter.
