    RRA LAR15 Government Model

    Hello all,
    I am new here...I have lurking around for awhile ...seems like a bunch of nice guys/gals!
    I have a RRA LAR15 Government Carbine… I have recently gone through some growing pains and switched back to my Aimpoint M2 from the EoTech 552.

    I've always been curious...is the barrel of a Gov't Model rifle light or heavy underneath the handguards?

    I believe I was told when I purchased mine that it is a Medium Weight Wilson Chrome Lined chrome molly...I just sold a colt with a "pencil Barrel" and it definitely not that animal.
