    Critique My Build

I have been pondering this project for a while and I think it just may be the creme de la creme of AR's. Let me know what you guys think.

    Attachment 7991

    1. M4 upper receiver.

    2. Spike's lower with Magpul stock.

    3. Long ass rail system. Not sure on manufacturer yet.

    4. Aimpoint T-1 mounted at 3 o'clock in case my primary optic fails.

    5. Troy front and rear sights. Should I get something cheaper?

    6. 11.5" barrel that has been cut down to 10.3". Then I am going to perm a Bushy 6.5 flash hider on it (to get around the SBR thing) and then have the Bushy flash hider threaded to accept an AAC suppressor.

    7. Generic foregrip. It's not a high stress part.

    8. Trijicon scope with a Larue SPR mount.

    9. Bipod- In case I want to use it as a sniper/ DDM rifle.

What do you guys think? Should I paint it or leave it alone?

Go with UTG for the long ass rail system (gun show guys say they are aces) and the Flash hider idea is brilliant Oh and paint it whatever color you like just make sure you throw it down the driveway so it looks used.

If you could somehow paint it exactly as it appears in your post, and color match some UTG rail covers, that thing be pimpin' since pimpin' was pimpin'!

So the paint is a keeper? I wasn't really sure.

You will be going with 6.8 on this, right?

Also, please don't forget to paint the Spikes logo red.

    I hadn't considered it. I was thinking strictly .223.

Are they any good? Hadn't considered that. I suppose more rounds down range would increase my chances of hitting.
