Yeah I got the email this morning that they were in stock and had to laugh a little,oh well. I am confident that I got a top quality BCG from Rainier Arms and am happy with my purchase and if for some reason I have any problems with it I'll just have to get a BCM one down the road.

You shouldn't have any problems with the RA stuff. They are a top notch outfit and wouldn't put out crap with their name on it.

Not to sound too dumb (right...) and not to do a hijack, but I see BCM and others advertise semi and auto bolt carrier groups. I assume the auto BCG will work in a semi rifle, but not a semi BCG in an auto rifle...?

It will work but you cannot get automatic fire with it.
