And you would be 100% correct! Fast and slick stripping now.

Clint (and M4C) saves the day.

ETA: The spring was in fact much shorter than the LMT spring ~ but certainly stiffer.

Been considering the heavy buffer. Does it effect perceived recoil? How about carrier speed?

I honestly don't notice it much, but I didn't shoot much with the factory H3, as I have been shooting suppressed 95% of the time and installed the XH buffer and spring right away.

I figured it couldn't hurt things and so fari haven't had a single failure with both gen 2 and gen 3 pmags.

KAC 762 QDC CQB suppressor cleared. Paper form 4 only took 5 months.

Just picked up my LM8. I debated building a 308 AR myself and could have for a lot less however, I decided that purchasing a factory gun would in the long run be the better option. I believe I've read about every single page of this thread and many others on this same subject and finally settled in on the LM8. I wanted the slimmer rail and after holding, or should I say fondling, the weapon I'm definitely glad I got the LM8. I have small hands and the rail down right feels perfect. I'm going to top it with a Leupold Mk4 4.5 x 14 that I already have on another weapon for now. I may or may not swap it out for different glass in the future. I'm also going to go with a AAC 7.62SDN in the future. Probably next year sometime. Pics will be up soon.

Had to change the stock and a few other things, repainted for terrain change. Work gun with all my flavor added and I wouldn't want anything else...

I currently have a LM8, but I'm considering swapping someone for a regular quad railed upper. I just like the look and function of the railed version better.

I have noticed that the bolt closes with much more authority. I couldnt say I have noticed a recoil change, I feel like the gun is pretty soft shooting suppressed.

I have not had any reliability issues since switching to the rifle buffer/spring from clint. Very happy.

Say nothing else brother....I'd potentially jump all over a deal for the reg. MWS chassis for the LM8 one. I would most likely sweeten any deal on my end as well given your chassis is in pristine condition.

No biggie, but should you seriously decide to go down that route, I'm certainly interested.

Send me a PM. I know we aren't too far geographically from each other. We might could work something out.
