I had the lm8 slick side and have the acc currently. The acc is considerably lighter and it actually runs with a can out of the box.My lm8 wouldn't even run suppressed reliably with the slash heavy buffer setup.I really do love the mws but the acc is a better running and handling rifle. At some point this year id like to pick up another mws and throw a 6.5 barrel in it

I love knights, and if if was looking for a 16 inch 308. The sr25 would be my number one choice.

With that being said, If I want somthing a little more compact to shoot surpressed, it's probably not going to happen.

If i want something does well long range, I am not going not going 308.

Yes, knights is starting sell uppers and they do have a 6.5 upper but honestly, 3500 is a little silly. You would almost be 8 grand in the weapon before you even think about an optic. Your looking at 10k easily.

LMT's are around 3000, 1200 in spare barrels, maybe another 1200 on mlock chassis and you have almost 5 grand. Left over.

    That's almost 2 S&B's or a S&B, a Can, and a aimpoint Micro.

Like I said, I love knights, just lmt works better for what I want it to do

Very nice. Would love to get a better look at the other two setups you have there.

Is that KAC bipod factory FDE anodized?
    The other rifles are:

    Sako TRG M10 with S&B PMII 5-25x

HK417 16" with older S&B Zenith 1.1-4x but with Short Dot BDC turret

    All,
I just received an “XH” buffer and spring from heavy buffers. This was my route to hopefully end the malfunctioning problems I was having while shooting suppressed. I will report back with the results when I get a chance to try it out.

I look forward to your results as I have stopped shooting my FGMM suppressed due to consistent malfunctions. Unsuppressed, it runs perfectly with minimal recoil from the SICO brake.

Roger that. I will be shooting suppressed with an SF SOCOM mini. I have been shooting regular federal M80 white box but I will pick up some other stuff just to see what happens. I also lube somewhat generously with Castrol GTX motor oil. It could be a while, the next 2 weeks a busy solid. I need to also figure out how to post pictures as photo bucket now requires $$$$.

I have a socom 762 mini 2 which *finally* is allowing my MWS to cycle reliably, suppressed. I use 168 and 175 FGMM, plus CBC 168. I couldn't shoot it with my Saker 762. In terms of sound the mini 2 is loud as heck, though. It has very little back pressure compared to even my Sandman-S, but at the expense of sound reduction. You can't have your cake and eat it, too.

    All,
I finally got out last week with my MWS and the installed “XH” buffer from heavy buffers. All rounds were shot suppressed with the SF socom mini. Ammo was FED XM80C, 149gr FMJ. Magazines were MP 20 round except for 1 KAC metal magazine.

Out of 150 rounds fired, I had 3 FTF/FTE. I lubed the rifle with Castrol GTX 10W30.

Not sure how to feel about this set up, maybe I thought the XH buffer was the answer. I may look into the AGB route just to cover all bases. I should also try with different ammo.

Also, ejection pattern was all at 1-2 o’clock. Brass was dirty but not dinged up. I hope this helps those MWS owners that are looking for options while shooting suppressed.

Nice looking rig. Ive never had a single feeding ejection issue. But Ive not shot that much XM80C. I have run some but not that much.

A very good alternative is the German MEN 147 ammo. Cheap and shoots 1.5 to 2 MOA

    I too run Clints buffer.
