What is the twist rate? 1/10?

There are so many different variants and I'm not up to date on .308 ARs like I am with 5.56. Dropping $5,000 on a rifle setup makes me want to do it correctly the first time.
The CL barrels do have a 1/10 twist. The SS barrels come with the 1/11.25 twist.

I have only shot mine to 600 yards and had no issues, once I had my dope down.

It's much more about the Indian, then the arrow at 800yds+....anything below that and the MWS can be considered on cruise control.

    LMT MWS 16" CL/Rem 700 w. Krieger 26" @ 1038yds

LMT MWS 16" CL @ 994yds.....steel/jugs of water

    LMT MWS w/ 16" CL on Steel @ 800yds

There were 18"x30" plates from 800 to 900. Misses were due to windage. Elevation was solid. Smaller targets close in were consistently boring.

Yes 16" CL with 1/10 twist. I just aquired a new 18" SS barrel, had it with me to test, but I was having too much fun with the 16" to bother.

There must be a difference - even if negligible - anyone have stats?

My 16” CL is a little finicky with ammo. It really likes FGMM 308 175 gr and Blackhills 175.
FGMM 762 is a NO GO. I thought there was something wrong with my rifle, when I had trouble hitting 500 yards shoots with Federal 762
Plan to run some comparison tests with the 18” SS barrel soon.

I have the 16" CL and the 18" SS as well. My 16 is super accurate and I only have about 350 through my SS but its looks very promising. In my limited experience with the SS I have noticed an increase in accuracy but I've not quantified it yet. I have shot my best group with the SS already without even working up a load. I only have about 1/4th of the rounds through my SS as I do my CL. I also noticed that my SS doesn't have the vertical stringing to the degree of the CL.

Whenever you get a chance, can you tell where the barrel markings are located on your SS and what it says (7.62 NATO, MP etc.)? But mainly just the location if you can.

    Define "Super accurate"?

Assuming the shooter has the skills - what are we talking at 600 yards? 1 MOA? 2 MOA?
Why do the loudest do the least?

With my best handloads for the CL barrel (43.9V, 175SMK), I can consistently expect one MOA or under average. Alot of .75's but also 1.1 or 1.2's. Of course I'll have a group of 1.5 inches but I am not that of the experience shooter. Now, all this is at 100 yards not 600. The groups that are over MOA are always because of one shot with four nice and tight.

I have never shot groups at 600 yards. I have shot plenty of steel at 555 yards and some at 1000 yards. I have a smaller silhouette target that is 12" x 16" And at 555 yards it is not at all difficult to ring it 18/20 shots. Of course this tells me little about the gun since there is always some wind present and a mediocre shooter. I have pics somewhere in this forum I'll try to look for the group pictures.

18" SS is marked MP 7.62 NATO 1/11.25 SS. The markings are located between the chamber and gas block.

16" CL is marked MP 308 WIN 1/10 CB. It's marking are forward of the gas block.

    Curious... why do you ask?
