Those groups look like crap. You need to sell your 16" barrel to me before you embarrass yourself

My 16" CL shots even worse. This past weekend I worked with some precision match guys. From 3/4" to 1/2" group zero and dot drills to banging steel at will from 350 to 850 yards.

Indeed your right. The 16" has shot better. Funny how there's usually a "flyer"in there. In all fairness there was no bipod or prone position. However the guys I shot w/ are from 19th Gr & they all wanted one after they played. So that must say something ?

I'm going to report it as it happened w/ no Bravo Sierra. It was raining, had one Bi Pod on the 18". Did not have time to rig the 16" w/ a bi pod etc.

I'm completely happy w/ both as there are no issues whatsoever.

Voodoo, I'm just giving you a hard time and want your barrel. Most of my groups were about the same shooting FGMM 175.

Amazing what a 16" CL will do out to 800+ yards.

Right on I deserve it. I plotted & was "lying in wait" for the 1/11.25 SS barrels. Indeed, the AR .308 platform has pushed the envelope & finally come to fruition.

Voodoo, do you plan to keep the flash hider on your 18" SS barrel or use a different muzzle device?

I'm running the BABC as well on my 16" and now considering a JP compensator or Surefire MB for my 18". I intend to use the 18" stictly for long range matches.

I do plan on changing it. I have not yet made a determination as to what I will supplant it w/ yet. Been mulling over a few.

    Any suggestions & why ?

    TIA

    Alright you win.

I ordred a different "semi 308" for work last August. All the BS from the manufacturer concerning a lack of accurate timelines or information is making me sick.

Therefore... A new in the box LMT MWSE 16" will be arriving by the end of next week. I'll throw on my F1 mil/mil and a BABC and be on the line rocking it by Friday

Thanks for all of the good information and range reports.

Got dialed in for wind and did a barrel break-in. I'll take it out to distance and see how it groups tomorrow. This is one smooth shooting rifle. Fit and finish are outstanding.
