I just double checked my WOLF SRM's "8-10", Oct 2010 is the lot number. There doesn't seem to be much official word which lots were having issues. Guess that I'll just have to give them a try sooner or later.

I've heard that as well...basically that the Remington 7 1/2 BR is Remington's equivalent of the CCI #41. I don't know if it is true (Remington's website doesn't say much about their primers), but I use the 7.5's exclusively in my ARs without any issues.

I know that Rem 7.5s are somewhat harder than Federal primers. I don't know how they compare to CCI mil spec.

I primarily use Rem 7.5s, but only due to the (perceived) match quality.

I was wondering if anyone has heard about the Tula Ammo primers in small rifle or have used them. I found some at a gun store for 25 bucks wondering if these are any good for 5.56.

To me a primer is a primer, I buy the cheapest that fits my application.
