Is there a reason you are looking at lower end options? I've replaced a few of those on LEO weapons where they kept coming loose even after use of thread locker.

I need a solution for my .308 orc range rifle as well. I cant see paying 106.00 from bushmaster for the yhm sight and I am not a fan of railed gas blocks.

    madrosie,

The reason YHM doesn't sell them is because they have an exclusive agreement with Bushmaster. I know because those are the same sights we had on our Bushmaster carbines in Iraq.

They are an absolute POS and I recommend that you find another option. They will not hold up. Here is a pic of one that was damaged when one of the guys jumped out of a vehicle. The sight hit against something and bent.

You have got to be f-ing kidding me! With that kind of damage I would expect it to have been dropped off a building.

Here are two more pics I found. These were simply knocked over or dropped.

These sights are made from aluminum. When I contacted them to speak with the CS personnel the guy told me that he has never seen this happen before and it was hard for him to believe that the weapons weren't being "abused". I had to remind him we are in a combat zone.
