I would like to give you guys a heads-up about the range/training business that a couple of my former co-workers just got going in the Stafford/Fauquier County area. Let me disclose that I worked with two (for one of them, actually) of them as Combat Instructors at Quantico. I have not trained with them outside of that arena, so I can't speak on the quality of their training courses. I have been to their range facility, however, and they seem to be one of the only (if not the only) ranges in my area that will allow people to train realistically as long as safety rules are adhered to. They offer open range days as well as training courses and professional instruction. I have no stake in this endeavor other than the fact that I want them to stay in business so that I can use their range. Please check out their website.
