Anyone try one of these. Both my LGS in North Atlanta are carrying them and speaking very highly of them. Course that doesn't really mean they're any good but....
LGS price seems pretty high at about $1650.

Never, ever heard of them before. Google is my friend, and here's what I found:

Looks like a $700-800 consumer AR from what I see. This is all else that I found:

It appears they make some somewhat higher end models. Still not seeing anything that grabs me.
$1650 you are in BCM, Daniel Defense and Noveske Basic territory.
Very familiar and well charted territory to boot.
I believe 1600 bucks will net you a LMT MRP if you want something special. Otherwise 1600 will get you any number of higher end ARs from the known quality companies like BCM, Colt, Daniel Defense and LMT.

No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"
I bought a DD M4v3 and a Colt 6920 for considerably less than that. I don't see anything about their rifles that justifies the cost.
Only reason I can think of to get one (and it's not a very good reason) is if you're a big Gun Dudes podcast follower and you want to spring for one of their custom billet lowers through them.

If you were to decide that the head down rifle is the right choice for you. Use the link through the GunDudes's you'll save $100. Me?...I'll stick with BCM and DD.

They call that their own upper receiver? That's just a DPMS.
