Mossberg 500 and TRL-1 weapon light

Does anyone know of a way to install a TRL-1 (or similar) light on a Mossberg 500 forearm?

I'd like to install a light on my Mossberg Model 500 Persuader Tactical Shotgun 50145, 20 Gauge, 20 in, for home defense. Mossberg does not sell their tactical tri-rail forearm for 20 gauage, so thats out of the question.

The TRL-1 only requires about a 2 inch picatinney type rail, so any ideas on how to mount one?

    Your opinions, please.

Would the grip replacement with rails from mako work: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/SHT078-1.html

Otherwise some jbweld and a rail section and you could fab one up pretty easy.

I have mine mounted on one of these mounted on the mag tube just in front of the forearm. It is easily reached with my index finger.

The Streamlight Tactical Flashlight Mag Tube Rail Mount 69901 is exacly what I am looking for. And Optics planet has it for less than $19.

This is why these forums are so helpful. Thanks Guys!!

When I got it I figured, it's only $16 (I've had it a while) what have I got to lose? I haven't been easy with it over the past couple of years and it's held up and stayed put. That's all I need it to do.

If you want something stronger, has a QD sling mount or interchangeable Picatinny, go with Mesa Tactical. Plus it would look BAD ASS

Oh got ya. I used Blackhawk!!! sling swivels, the front sling mount is attached to the front of the Mag. tube, the other its mounted to bottom of the stock, 6 o'clock. The Light mount has a QD mount, not sure if ill ever use it
