Does anyone NOT use a BUIS?

Ran a TA11 in afghanistan for 6 months with no BUIS. Most military guys issued any version of ACOG dont run a BUIS because of the non-QD TA51 mount.

Ive seen pics from Afghanistan with guys using ACOGs with no BUIS. My M16A4 DMR had no BUIS for my ACOG.

My issue rifle has an RCO with mo BUIS. My personal rifle sports a KAC Micro 300M BUIS. Its so small, no excuse not to have one.

NoBUIS on HD gun. No sling either. Got a Redimod and a can though.

Guy I know uses a TA31 and a DBAL. No buis. Figures between the ACOG and the visible laser he's good to go.

I do not have any iron sights, only a nikon 1-4x. If something happens to the optic when I am shooting I will have to wait and repair.

I've got BMUIS on my AR with an EO 512. I make sure to practice with both on each range trip.

I'm pretty sure the scope is not supposed to extend passed the barrel. Just saying.
