    Where can I find a CAR-15 stock?

I searched around a bit, cant seem to find one for sale. Do they fit a mil spec buffer tube or are they different? Its not actually for an AR but I need one just the same.

Any leads would be great, thanks

I have no idea how good they are, but this is a potential source.

I have one of those M&A stocks on my A1 - it's fine.

    ETA: Milspec RE, too.

I have no experience with these. I saw it while browsing the CDNN catalog the other day.

Too bad you can't just buy the stock with either of those choices. The only reason I would want one is that the M4 stock's sling loop gets in the way. I removed the sling loop from my stock, but that CAR stock is still sleeker.

Yeah I tried looking around not too long ago, and I could never find just the stock. Those are probably you're best bet. I remember seeing tons of these in our arms room. I probably should have snatched one up.

    I've always run those stocks.

It's crazy that you can't fine them too often. I mean... when the aftermarket stock faggotry came on years back, you couldn't find anyone keeping those on his gun.

Sarco had an "unlimited" supply of NIB Colt CAR/M4 stocks with 4 position RE, spring and H-buffer for $125 a few months ago, but it looks like they are all gone now.

I wish I hadn't hesitated to buy one all of those times. Anywhere else I've seen them they are $125 for just the stock and $250 for the entire kit.

I think the vintage/clone builders buy all of them up, which makes them hard to find and ridiculously expensive if you can. I bet there are piles of these things in warehouses somewhere.
