Will 22 conversion kit work in Colt with sear block?

I have a Colt Sporter with the sear block. Since the top of the sear block extends up into the bottom of the bolt carrier, (reason for half moon carrier on these rifles) will this effect the workings of a conversion kit ? I am thinking about one of the Colt kits.

The CMMG and the Colt brand 22 conversions( got that one almost 20 years ago) both work in my Colt HBAR with the sear block. The Colt one worked from day one. The CMMG took some fussing with but now works well also. brian
