IWC TM and Magpul midlength HG

Hi, new member here. I'm looking to get a magpul handguard for my new rifle. Does anyone know if this mount

    http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...-mount-n-slot/

will work on a midlength? I only see MOE carbine listed there but it seems like it would work.

    Thanks,
    Gary

I opted for the side mount (http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...-detach-sling/) QD mount for my midlength MOE handguards, but I believe the top mount one would work as well, since the top slots on the carbine and middy look similar.

Yea I was originally going to use that but I want to mount it closer to the receiver and the midlength slots for some reason don't go all the way back.

I put this one on a Magpul mid length: http://www.impactweaponscomponents.c...qd-micro-mount

Had to driill the hole, but it fits quite nicely and close to the receiver.

don't forget to check the combo deals section. they have what i'm assuming you want. middie handguard with installed QD micro located near the receiver.

Thanks, I'll probably end up ordering that pre-installed model. I was just wondering if the top mounted adapter would work on any length MOE.

i'm not an expert, but i believe there is a difference in curvature of the top of the MOE between the carbine and midlength. IWC makes an effort on some of their products to differentiate between the two and between iterations of the carbine guard.
