Welcome!
Welcome!
Thanks Mooseman! So much good info here.
New/Old FNG guy here, been spending to much time on other weapons platform forums. But I do appreciate ARs deeply.
Hi Ace, welcome to M4C
I've always been a bolt gun guy and never had any desire for an AR....then I shot one! Shortly after I bought an LE6920 and am starting with mods already. I won't be giving up my .308, but the M4 is by far the most fun to shoot!

I used to post a bit on here 7-8 years ago but my account has since vanished. Glad to be back.
Hello to all! I have been reading here and like many, have been a long-time pistol and shotgun enthusiast now making my way into rifle territory. I read numerous threads here and lurked a bit prior to my fist AR purchase.
Fortunately I was able to find a very lightly used (if at all other than for show-and-tell) Sig Sauer M400 SRP. The rifle came mostly stock, less the addition of MBUS poly sights and a few extra USGI magazines. Over the last couple of weeks I have been building it out to my personal preferences and thus far have landed on the following (with a couple of things left to do, may be after a couple of paychecks to catch up):
-MFT 7" Keymod drop-in Carbine Stock
-MFT Minimalist Adjustable Stock
-2x MFT QD points
-BCM A2 Mod 2 Grip
-BCM Stubby VG-S
-Magpul Trigger Guard
-BAD-ASS Ambi Safety
-Replaced MBUS poly front with MBUS Pro on the gas block (poly rear MBUS remains for now)
-Radian Raptor Ambi Charging Handle
-Magpul MS4 Sling
-Sight-Mark Ultra Shot M-Spec reflex sight
-I am sure I am missing an odd or end, it was a lot to do to the rifle over a couple of weeks....
Still awaiting a little $:
-Some level of tactical light up front (TBD - still researching)
-Giselle trigger (maybe)
-MBUS pro rear sight (not a priority at this point, poly on the rear works great)
-Magnifier to give me a little more range through the reflex.
As purchased (except the sight I added and the magazine):

Long time lurker,
Decided to get in on the fun.
Thanks for the excellent and well moderated forum, and for approving my membership.
I'm Jamie. I'm an RN, have been for 35 years now and work in an Emergency Room in East TN.
I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to train with several incredibly knowledgeable instructors over the years. I hope to never stop learning and I'm thankful to those mentors for instilling that in me.
There's a great deal of excellent information here, so I better get back to reading more of it.
Thanks again.
Jamie
Hello, new to the forum but have used it for research countless times. I'm currently overseas but have 2 builds I'm collecting parts for and I look forward to sharing it with you here when I'm home.
