Pretty green to the AR screen. Just bought my first colt AR about 2 months ago. It seems to shoot very well. (I don’t have the experience to tell otherwise). Added a Troy rail to it.

Been a member since 2012. Never posted. First post, and I ALREADY made a mistake. Been into firearms since the 50's. Didn't own an AR till 2012. Now I've got 3. Just put together 2 AR pistols. I love 1911's, of course! Also, didn't own a Glock till 2012. First purchase was a G20. Member of GSSF. Picked up several (haha) since! Own several other "military based" firearms. Grew up in Texas, & having moved around, am back on the Gulf Coast. Been a member of the NRA since the 60's. Life member. Intend to "tow the line" & start posting more! Thanks!

Checking in from Georgia. I've lurked for a couple years and decided I might as well join as long as I'm here anyway. I've read enough posts to see that this is a good group of knowledgeable folks, and I am glad to be here.

Wanted to say hello from New Hampshire and thank you to all of the many knowledgeable posters here. I've been lurking here for several years and only registered fairly recently. I've learned so much and recently pulled the trigger, so to speak, on a new Colt 6920. Although I served in the Army for years, including combat in Somalia, I've come to realize I've forgotten much more than I remember even if I can still break it down blindfolded. So thanks to all as I've been absorbing so much on these forums. Next up is some back to basics training at Sig Sauer Academy and hopefully some 3 Guns next summer.
