With much gratitude for this web site/forum, I want to thank the moderators and staff for a very professional, mature, modest and accessible vehicle in which to learn. Just got my first AR out of the 'holding pen' yesterday morning. Been shooting .22 rifles and a 9mm pistol for a while, can't wait to get this thing out to the range and let it rip! I picked up some Magpul stuff...the new MOE SL hand guard, MOE+ grip, the SL stock, the trigger guard and a BCM charging handle/latch. Here's a few pics that probably wouldn't make it on that cool thread on TOS ;-)

New guy from SC. Just bought my first AR. Wound up getting a DDM4 V2 on sale from Academy. I hadn't really heard much about them prior to buying it, but apparently I lucked out as far as quality is concerned. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can here. This site seems to have an overwhelming amount of information.
