Forward sling mount options with MP Moe?

I really like the look that the MagPul Moe forward hand guard gives. I've never got to handle a set mounted on a rifle yet but from the imagery, it seems as if this style will prohibit the usage of the USGI side mount forward sling swivel, which is the method I prefer.

Can anyone shed first hand experience whether or not the handguard does or does not interfere.

Also, what side mount method can be used to mount the sling somewhere near FSB area.

Bear in mind I sling my weapon on the stock and in the MilSpec style as it has proven to work for me in real world situations. I use BFG VTAS.

GG&G makes a side sling mount that attaches to the FSB.

Also IWC makes a few different sling mounts for the MOE handguards.
I think they have one that goes in the slots on the MOE handguards that would get you close to the FSB.

I installed an IWC QD micro on my MOE handguards, but I put it as close to the receiver as I could.

Better to just drill a hole and mount this one

I have a pair of Colt 6920's with MagPul MOE handguards attached. I use the factory side sling swivel, mounted on the barrel, under the FSB. The MOE handguard in no way interferes with the swivel. I use the BFG VCAS sling on both guns.

I switched out the factory stock with the MOE stock. The VCAS works will with this also.

One of these guns is my Patrol Rifle at work.

    Hope this helps.

Beat Trash, thanks for the information. It's nice to know that the issue sling swivel will work.
