    Bayonet lug mount?

If this has been posted before I apologize. New to the sight and only went back about 3 pages.

I'm not wanting to change out my m4 type hand guards. Haven't I seen a mount that attaches to the bayonet lug? I'm thinking under the barrel wouldn't get into my field of view.

Anyone have any experience with these? Dislikes? Or has this been proven a bad idea before?

    Thanks in advance.

Although there are a few companies making the mount you are describing, I think that you will find the placement of the light below the barrel less than optimal.
Check out http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=22625 for some options on keeping your M4 handguards and placing the light in a better location.

    Light mount

    RPDO3,

Thanks, yea after reading that thread I don't think I want to go that route. I like the IW mount that bolts to the through the top two vent holes. I think I'll go with that one.

    Thanks,
