The paint is a non issue for me because I won't be selling this set up.

I saw a Vltor lower for the first time the other day. Very nice.

I considered it but in the end I thought this would be adequate. This will be a minimal type of set up. At some point it will get a T-1 and an X300 and I will call it a day.

We went to Bearizona up in Williams. A ****ing bear bit the front bumper on my 4Runner. It was good stuff though.

Now thats pretty cool. Did you leave a big Ole sausage link on the Bumper. Thats kinda crazy, but makes for good family memories.

Nice and cool up there huh?

    Uh, WTF?

    Good looking blaster.
What are your thoughts on having the "sprocket" of the barrel nut exposed through the HG?

Hi Jack, how are you? . Bearizona is a new attraction where you drive through an area that has wild donkeys, mountain sheep, bison, bears and other critters. As we drove through "bearland" one of the large black bears walked in front of the 4Runner so I just stopped.

He then sauntered over and started sniffing the bumper. I thought he was going to scratch his nose. He then decided to naw on the bumper and I was like WTF!

I slowly moved forward and he walked over to another vehicle.

I don't see it as an issue because the teeth are almost perfectly flush with the rail.

The mental imagery on this is too funny! I never heard of this place, I'll have to look it up.

Great looking upper btw, interested to hear how it shoots. SBR is in my future at some point.

Very nice upper there IG. Regarding the Kino config---is there any advantage to it over having say a 12" rail and a fixed front sight with the x300 at 0000hrs?
