One of my favorite K-frames: S&W M15 2" 38spl. The book it is sitting on is Chuck Taylor's "Gun Digest Book of Combat Handgunnery" 3rd Edition. I had wanted a 2" M-15 ever since I read that book back in college. Only took me 15 years to find one for sale locally

Here's a picture of my hunting revolver, and it's 22lr training partner. The hunting revolver is a Bowen Classic Arms Nimrod, chambered in 45 Colt built on a Ruger Stainless Bisley Blackhawk. The grips are merino ram sheep's horn and were made by Cary Chapman. The load I run in it is a 325gr Cast Performance LBT bullet over 21.5gr of H110. The training revolver is a recent-production Ruger Stainless Bisley Single-Six, in 22lr. It replicates the grip of my 45 Colt and allows me to get in more trigger time than I would if I were only shooting heavy 45 Colt loads.

Great gun motivated by a great book for it's day.

15 years is't bad, I'm on 25+ years looking for a good pinned and recessed 2.5" S&W M-19. Found a few beaters, but want one in good condition, just like you found with your M-15.

Thanks for sharing a pic of your find!
