    Thanks man.

On the mounting placement, it IS a FF handguard, but the way its designed...it tilts to the side a little, I was wondering if anyone had experience with mounting an optic on the TRX, I though FF was GTG for mountingg optics.

I am waiting to put The Cantilever mount on.

My funds are gone at this point and its not gettin any better lol.

Thanks again man. Its pretty much exactly what I had in my head from day one.

The LaRue Cant. mount needs to be on it now though, although I am kind of starting to like the Co-witness mount, it sits low to the rail and its easy on easy off.

The part I HATE is the mounting hardware that sticks out 4 fricken feet on the side!
A long time ago I had this setup

Don't quote me, but I believe it is lighter than the Larue and definitely doesn't stick out as far. ADM is good stuff, unless you just want a Larue. The Larue has extra battery storage too.

    ADM makes a cantilever mount.

Oh I wasnt talkin about my LaRue mount sticking out far, I was reffering to the one on the SBR.

I have the LaRue on my M4. I love that one.

Ill check those out for sure though. Are they pretty tough?

Huge believer in ADM kit...can't go wrong w/ larue or bobro though.

Do you still use this grip when shooting BCm...

If so we share a similar if not exact same grip and at some point I think you might want to give a handstop a try as it will give you the same index point and ability to generate reward pressure for shouldering and maintaining muzzle rise, all the while reducing the size of the rifle's profile and shaving a few ounces off the total weight.

I also really like my BAC2.0 on my 10.5"....while it's not absolutely necessary, it certainly has some advantages over the A2 that I started out with on the rifle.

Sure do. Its a little more tricky running it on the M4, its more difficult to get my arm extended.

I also only run my stock in Position 2.

I just like the optic there and my nose almost touches the charge handle.

The handstop would for sure save me some weight

    Nice setup.

I'm running a very similar setup on my 11.5 BCM. Another item you may want to look into is the IWC light mount for the Scout/Troy TRX setup (link below). It will eliminate the use of the rail section and should cut down on the weight from what you are running now and pull the light in tighter to the rail. I don't use the IWC scout mount but I have the same mount for a Surefire VTAC L4 (E2 style light) and it's good stuff. I was running a rail section gear sector setup like yours with the L4 prior.

Ya thats almost it huh. Actually I almost went with a mount n slot just like that.

I do need to lose some weight of this thing.

If I had more funding at this point I would try some other stuff, its making it so I have to use the stuff I have for awhile though which is cool.

I want to make sure I like it before I go changing stuff.

Is that an M3 or an M2..

Also, what is on the end of your barrel?
